Using Cylindrical and Spherical Symmetries in Numerical Simulations of Quasi-Infinite Mechanical Systems

چکیده
The application of cylindrical and spherical symmetries for numerical studies many-body problems is presented. It shown that periodic boundary conditions corresponding to formally symmetry allow reducing the problem a huge number interacting particles, minimizing effect conditions, obtaining reasonably correct results from practical point view. A physically realizable configuration also studied. advantages disadvantages symmetric realizations are discussed. Finally, symmetry, which naturally realizes three-dimensional system without boundaries on its two-dimensional surface, As an example, tectonic dynamics considered, interesting patterns resembling real ones found. stressed perturbations axis planet rotation may be responsible formation such patterns.

Infinite Dimensional Hamiltonian Systems with Symmetries
We give a survey of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian systems with infinite dimensional Lie groups as symmetry groups and discuss concrete examples from soliton equations, plasma physics, fluid mechanics and quantum field theory.
